The Amarok project announce a new nightly build service, named Neon, for Amarok2 packages, which makes Amarok2 SVN available for everyone. The initiator of this project is Harald Sitter, also known as Apachelogger. At this time there are only packages for Kubuntu available, but hopefully other distributions will launch this project.
Note: Amarok2 is still alpha software and includes some bugs. Data will by safed in ~/amarok-nightly, so you can use Amarok1 and Amarok2 side by side. You can start Amarok2 from your menu or by typing "amarok-nightly" from konsole.
- add deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu hardy main to your sources.list.
- Update your package list and install "amarok-nightly".
